Meg Herlihy is an NCIDQ-licensed residential interior designer based in Atlanta, Georgia. She holds an undergraduate business degree from Georgetown University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from George Washington University, both in Washington, DC.
She began her career in the Washington metro area, where she developed a strong appreciation for smaller homes, historic millwork, and maximizing every square inch of space in a home. Working first for an architect-led design-build firm, she enjoys the collaborative approach needed between construction, architecture, and design professionals to keep projects moving smoothly through the design and remodel process.
The team at Meg Herlihy Home works primarily with remodel clients who are seeking a firm that can handle interior architectural adjustments, kitchen and bathroom design, and decorating. We particularly love the process of re-configuring floor plans and adjacencies to best suit the client's lifestyle as well as helping couples and families with differing design styles create a cohesive look.
We adore historic homes and love the challenge of working with homes that respect the past, while also accommodating modern lifestyle needs.
On a personal level, Meg lives in Atlanta with her husband, two daughters, and toy Australian shepherd, Banjo. She is an avid Atlanta Falcons fan and enjoys experimenting with vegan recipes, running, and scoping out new travel opportunities.
